Good Morning ...
Some Adventures are good, some no So ...
Todays is maybe what you would call in between.
We have come to the end of our time with the Home Healthcare-givers.
Its been 7 weeks of twice weekly visits from the Physical Therapist and the Home Health RN.
I am forever grateful for these two wonderful men that became friends in our lives.
Both Dave and I are truly sad that we won't see them again.
It also means that we are on our own to fully regain strength and complete mobility.
Things will never be perfect, but I thank the Lord for everything that Dave can now do. At almost 85 (in 6 months), it will never be as it was years ago, but then again, it's not the way it was 7 weeks ago either!

What a kind, gentle and really pleasant man. He was so professional but could joke and tease too.

What a great guy!
His "Bedside" manner really got Dave up and "running".
We had a lot of wonderful chats and I was so glad to be included in everything.
We still have 1 more visit from the Occupational Therapist.
She's ok but not on our "friends list", a bit scattered but the exercises she did are good for both of us.
The major accomplishment from her is loosening Dave's neck muscles. It is helping the entire body's core.
Dave's fall produced NO broken bones but the deep bruising internally is more difficult to "fix". A lot of it just takes time and persistence.
All this to say that we thank you our blogging friends for your care and concern and storming heaven for us.

Sorry it has ended but I am glad he is doing better. Glad you had such nice people helping you out. Praying that he continues to get better and better as time goes on.
Glad that he had no broken bones and happy that you had the time with the heatlh care when you did. Here's to a healing journey ahead.
I am glad to hear that you had a good experience with home health care. Life is a constant change, for all of us. I am praying for both of you.
