I suppose you better know which Sacramento you plan to visit. West Sacramento or just plain Sacramento. Wonder what happened to East Sacramento? LOL. this made me smile. We have sunshine today and it is making for a beautiful day. I'm late commenting today...I finally went to the doctor and got a big shot that I know will knock all of his crud out.. You and Dave enjoy the rest of this Wednesday... hugs to you Sue.

Wonder why West Sacramento pulled away from the main Sacramento?

Well that could get confusing.

My son was mugged in West Sacramento when he was staying there last year, as part of the negotiating committed with the union for a new contract. Staying at a nice hotel, he stepped outside for a break they were all mugged.

I guess someone must've said to some people in Sacramento, "Go West, young man!", and so they went to the west end of town and started their own town. We have a similar situation here in the city closest to us. There is Palatka, and then there is East Palatka. To me it appears to be more to the SOUTH rather than east, and you have to cross the river to get to it. Maybe it veers off a bit east once you cross the river, and actually the river runs down the west side of it, so I guess they had no other way to go but east. I'd have to look at a map to to figure it out.

Oh, this looks like Old Sac, or close to it. I miss visiting there. It's been a while. I always have the best time whenever I used to go there. Great shops and good restaurants. I like the "Wordless Wednesday" photo today!
