Today is Thankful Thursday though we should be thankful for every day ...
First of all, I am so very thankful for what arrived in the mail yesterday.
I had to submit a form to the courts to request a permanent exemption from serving on a jury. I had to give them a reason for a dismissal.
It finally came yesterday and I am so very thankful for the approval. Between my age and all of those issues and my hearing being less than stellar, I guess they thought it was better to have me stay home and behave myself. There is no exemption for being a certain age in California.
I am also thankful for the spritzes of rain we had yesterday.
They encouraged our almond and tiny plum tree to show off their spring finery.
Thankfully the rain and wind didn't blow away the blossoms of our trees.
Today there is nothing but bright blue skies and just a slight breeze.
And
Of course I am thankful for friends like you !
Always be Grateful
Always be Kind

Great news about being exempt from jury duty! Have a great weekend, you two.
This is good news! However, I'm not sure that you will behave. :)
Your trees are so pretty!
Your tree is beautiful. I have not heard of a permanent exemption. We have to do it year by year. Wish it was your way.
Good news being exempt from jury duty! Now, just to make sure you behave at home :) Thank you for linking up.
Well that's good. I know that was bothering you.
Big sigh of relief! Let all your future "verdicts" be done from this side of the television screen! 🤭
I didn't know you could get a permanent exemption, but that must be a relief not to have to worry about getting called up anymore.
Your flowering trees look so pretty. Spring must arrive earlier in your neck of the woods.
To answer your question on my WW post about the snow. That was in the parking lot of our grocery store, but I didn't post it to show how much or how dirty the snow was, but because I thought the top looked like a snow sculpture and I was curious if other people would notice it too.
:-)
What a relief to get that in the mail. I used to frequently get jury summons but the last time I got excused because I hadn't gotten my hearing aids yet. I haven't gotten another one since then.
You are starting springtime already.
Also, great you are permanently out of jury duty. They do have that here in GA.
I'm glad you received that letter. Wow, the tree looks so pretty. Thankful for you too! Enjoy your weekend.
I'm so happy for you for all the joys that have come your way recently. We've had light rain lately too. Your almond and plum tree are loving it and coming alive. I really appreciate your Thankful Thursday posts, my friend. I read one time that grateful people are the happiest people, and I believe that is true! : )
