Good Morning !!
My camilla bush is blooming like crazy. Its laid a carpet of bright pink on the ground and offered wonderful goodies for the little birds today. The hummers love it too. Wish I could capture a photo of them as they flit by.
I'm having so much fun looking at the world through the lens of my Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3. I will share my world of Rocklin, California and points North, South, East and West. Come and enjoy with me.

Sorry to read you are still under the weather, Sue, and hope you will be feeling better soon as coughs can be so long lasting it seems. The camellias are lovely and brought back memories of ones on the VA eastern shore where we formerly lived.
WOW!!! I have never seen a Camilla bush! I think we don't have them here. This is amazingly gorgeous!! How inspiring to be able to look outside and see this. Yes, cookies are definitely called for. Warm; straight out of the oven. I agree with the raisin cookie comment! Yuk!
It looks so beautiful. Sorry you still are not feeling your best. Yes, bake some cookies. Take care.
I understand that meme!
Are you saying those beautiful red flowers from the tree are right now?
Nothing like that here.
I have heard others say the cough that accompanies that is lasting forever.
So sorry.
That last meme still makes me chuckle.
How your pink petals dazzle! They remind me of the bougainvillea's that used to grow in Phoenix ... but what a nuisance when they landed in the pool, nearly choking the filter.
Hope you're feeling much better soon!
The camilla bush is gorgeous. I used to have a lot of them years ago in San Mateo. They get messy though. My son has a beautiful one in his yard. Definitely a pleaser!
I’m sorry you still have the lingering effects from what you had. Coughs seem to be the last symptom that leaves.!
Cookies should do the trick though!
Bummer...that old bug just keeps hanging on!! I think the carpet of pink flowers would make a lovely Wedding backdrop. There are a lot of camilla bushes here in the complex but I haven't seen any blooms yet...guess I need to take a walk around the place. I love oatmeal raisin...but the Cookie Kids that come to my door really want the chocolate chip!!! We all have issues...hahaha.
That bush is gorgeous. Sorry about the ickies. I agree that cookies are called for.
Oh my! Your camellia bush is just beautiful!! That is one very lush and full bush! Amazing!! Oh, I am sorry you are still under the weather. This winter seems to be causing a lot of that kind of illness everywhere. Something's in the air!! Even across the continent! Oh, but cookies are always good to chase the gloomies away! And I prefer oatmeal with raisins and nuts. I'm not a huge chocolate chip fan (but of course the kids always are!). Sounds really good. These chilly days are good for baking!! Take care my friend and feel better soon.
That is so beautiful! The petals are beautiful on the tree and on the ground!
Love the meme. My husband always said that happened to him as a child.
I sure hope you're feeling better soon.
The Camilla tree is beautiful and like wise the carpet of petals. Sorry to hear you are still not well hope you kick it soon.
as a child I was often upset by finding raisins and not choc chip. ha ha ha ha ha. that tree is stunning and looks like spring not winter. the leafless tree is just as beautiful, but in a different way
sorry about the lingering cough...
What a glorious carpet there in the back yard! Feel better soon!
Such a beautiful carpet of Camilla blooms. I looked at my FIL's bush yesterday and it is about ready to burst out in blooms. I loved the little meme on oatmeal raisin cookies. so funny!! My cough is still lingering as well. They are so difficult to get rid of. Hope that both of you can shake the coughing very quickly. My doctor told me that hot tea and honey is the best....Have a wonderful Thursday....hugs to you
Oh wow! I love that carpet of pink. Hope you feel better soon.
Your Camilla bush is beautifully showing off, Sue. I laughed at the cookie remark but I'm sorry for the irritating cough. Lord Jesus, we stand on the authority of your word and order that pesky cough to go in your Name. Strengthen Sue. In Jesus Name. Amen.
What a pretty Camilla. I wish I'd planted one now.
Hope your cough is gone now. Get well soon.
Our ground is still frozen and there's snow everywhere. What a cold winter we're having! ✨
