Yesterday was National Donut Day.
Our favorite donut shop "Rocklin Donuts...Cinnamon and Donuts" was voted #1 in the COUNTRY by Yelp!
There is a good reason for the winning...they are scrumpcious!!!
We go there on Wednesdays for our "WednesDate"
Apple Fritters are to die for.
It is a family run business that has been at this location for just a year. Customer Service is really big with Dave and I, and this place is definitely at the top of the list.
This photo is of Papa and his son David and our Assemblyman Joe Patterson.
Here is the line at 8:30AM .... it was that way up until closing at 3PM.
I'm going to have to ask how many donuts they went through yesterday.
The whole family was in the prep area making the donuts as fast as they could.
AND....
Dave and I actually made it on the local 5PM news.
We were interviewed as to why we were there and why their donuts are the best!!

It was a fun start to the day. From there I went to my care-giving with my friend Lynne.
Guess what she got as a treat?

So interesting!! So, do you both have to stand in this long line every week? Our backs would never let us. You must have great self-control to only go once a week!

you should be able to go to the news website and find your clip and make a snip of it... I am happy for them they are doing so well and that is my first ever line to see outside a donut shop. wow
