HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

Yesterday was Father's Day.

We had such a good time, even though it was only Dave and I and our older son Steve and his wife at our home.

Steve and Sigrid brought the entire meal... and what a feast it was.

Of course I didn't get a single picture of it .. par for a photographer family.

We had the most wonderful Tri Tip. mashed potatoes, artichokes, caesar salad and watermelon.

Talk about stuffed.  Lots of great conversation and a Face-Time call with our Granddaughter Amanda.

She has a summer long job as a camp counselor.  Love modern technology that allows us to see and talk to each other.

We also got a nice long phone call from our other son Mark and his family.

Like I said, I love that we can touch base even when far apart.

Dave is coming along and able to put about 60% weight bearing on his leg ... Progress..

Its nice to see him upright more and more.  Now it's more just getting all the muscles strong enough to carry his full weight .

We just take things One Day at a Time...

Love this guy !!

That's really good news, Dave will be up and running very soon, there will be no stopping him.
Sounds like a lovely Father's Day with your family. I bet everyone loved the pie!

What a blessing for you both. And may the in-person. and techie contact with your loved ones strengthen Dave and your ability to continue working through the physical and emotional challenges.
