We had a lovely surprise yesterday.
A very dear friend stopped by.
We hadn't seen her for quite some time. I think we gabbed for 3 hours straight.
Here's what she brought us for our dessert.
It's called Nothing Bundt Cake !
My absolute favorite... so moist and flavorful.
Lemon is Dave and my favorite taste sensation.
It was just the perfect size to not be too dangerous!

Today we go to see Dave's surgeon for hopefully his final check up.
I think from now on it's just getting his core stronger and helping him be the independent guy he has always been.
We are so ready for life to be back to "normal" again.
It will happen...
