Our yard has truly gone to pot...
The lawn service we have had for 13 years has raised their prices WAY beyond what we can afford.
They unfortunately choose to not service us any longer
instead of working with us for less times or something.
We really liked them and their work
BUT
now we will have to get a mower and do it ourselves..
Not too happy with that alternative.
So I will show what our lawn looks like now and then on to prettier things.
These photos really don't show how straggly and ugly things have gotten.
It's all sitting on my shoulders now with Dave out of commission.
BOO !!
Our pomegranate tree seems to be doing good.
We have lots of blossoms and bulbs starting.
I hope we will have a successful crop this year.

maybe you can find someone to just cut it every other week.. not all the frills just mow it. like a handyman mower person. our looks worse than yours and Bob cuts it once a week. drought and no rain for months. you may harm yourself trying to do it yourself and then where will you be.
Oh no. I cannot imagine what my yard would look like if I didn't have a wonderful neighbor who takes care of it.
i hope you find someone to do this for a reasonable price.
So many things happen at the same time. Hope you can find someone to help with the lawn. Take care you two.

if ya was in the country, goats are good for the lawn

Oh Sue, one more thing on your plate. Wonder if there is aome teenagers that would help you for a latte or two.
wow you are a trooper ...just read where you got busy and did something about it (although the photos don't look bad at all to me - you have a big yard)...
