SOME UPDATES

The fires continue to burn in Northern California.

So many lives have been lost, most among the retired, elderly people of

Paradise and Magalia CA.

It's a tragedy that boggles the mind.

The property loss is also unthinkable.

Our nieces and nephew and their families are safe and are staying elsewhere.

This is our nieces home that they live in on weekends and also served as the "family hotel".

So far the rest of the families' property is still intact.

As you can see the home is a total loss.

This is the air quality yesterday 120 miles from the fire.

We are standing outside the Kaiser clinic in Lincoln, CA.

The buildings in the background are barely visible.

Our eyes were stinging and we could taste the air.

As you can see the sun is just a dirty brown orb in the sky.

Most schools have been closed due to the bad air quality.

Praying for containment and rain.

We haven't had any for an extremely long time.

I saw a drone video of what used to be the town of Paradise, I can't believe the total destruction, it's horrible. Just burnt out home sites, one after another, every street. And so many people missing. I'm so glad your family is safe.

glad you shared your family is safe, the quality of the air I had not thought about effecting schools that did not burn. this whole fire just boggles my mind completely, thinking of the infrastructure alone, streets and power and water. not to mention the homes and business gone. and still it burns

...I'm sure that I have no idea how large these fields are. Here fire is rarely an issue. Stay safe.
