A FROSTY MORNING

I didn't get outside quickly enough this morning.

I missed sunrise and the heaviest part of the frosty morning.

The air was crisp and the neighbors' roof still had the white stuff on it.

The temperature was 36*F.

My breath came out in puffs of clouds.

Don't forget to enlarge the photo to see the detail.

The bare trees make real pretty silhouettes against the sky.

Oh, I can see the frost on the roof when I enlarged the photo. It's very sunny here, and a little deceiving as it is also rather cold. Had a nice weekend in Bakersfield for a Cousins Reunion. Lots of laughter, fun and games. I wish you cold have seen Don do Kareoke singing "Splish Splash, I was taking a bath....." HaHa A Don you've never seen. We were all shocked but what a blast. You just need that kind of getaway sometimes. Good for the soul.

the surgery is called yag laser. a membrane can form over the eye after cataract removal. for some it is 3 months, my right eye was 3 months, others a year, this eye was 18 months and some don't get it or it could be 3 to 6 years. i was in the office a total of 25 minutes and 15 of that was waiting for eye to dialate. i counted 6 clicks of the light and when i left my sight is perfect. i can read even with the one eye dilated and the tv is perfect again. can't go out in bright light until dialaiton is gone.
