ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " U "
Here we go again .
It's time for ABC Wednesday and the letter is " U ".
USUALLY when company and family come to visit, cemeteries aren't on the agenda.
We are a family that perhaps are a bit UNIQUE.
We love photographing the headstones and figures in the cemeteries.
This figure is called Pioneer Woman.
I love her strong spirit. She seems ready to face any challenges that lay ahead.
Here's an UNUSUAL tombstone we found at the cemetery in Old Sacramento.
A UNIQUE love story found on a monument.
Two views of the monument to his Love.
Some people would be UPSET to see all of the graves,
but we found them fascinating.
Don't forget to enlarge the photos
Please check out what others have posted for the letter " U ",
By going to the ABC link on my sidebar.

lovely.
The cemeteries I've like best are in old ghost towns. - Margy
You've found some fascinating memorials and stories. I'm rather fond of a old church/cemetery combo.
I like to wander round cemeteries too. I'm always interested in the local family names, and how they are all related to each other. Love the Mohammed Ali gravestone.
Nice post. I always visit your blog. Soooo good... Organic Manure in Tamilnadu
