ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " Z "
Today is the final letter of our alphabet, the letter " Z ".
At our final letter last go-around I posted Zebras in the zoo.
I said that my final posting this time would be the real thing in real life.
We saw many herds of these beautiful animals on our Kenyan safari.
Though this is a little out of focus since we were riding along the rutted "road".
I love how these Zebras were as curious about us as we were about them.
Don't you just love the amazing patterns of their black and white coats?
Be sure to enlarge each shot to see the landscape more clearly.
Check out Mrs. Nesbitts link on my sidebar to see what others have posted for " Z ".

magnifique reportage animalier, ils sont superbes
Sue, Love the design on the face of the zebra looking at you! For being "out of focus," they are remarkably sharp I think - your safari must have been the trip of a lifetime.
Zounds. Love theme.
Wonderful captures and I zebras! Had a couple of those today, too, but I didn't get to take my own shots this time! Have a good week!

Great captures! You have so many wonderful images from your trip!
It must have been great to ses the Zebras in there natural habitat. Zoos just isn't the same
The barcode crew!
I like the black and white with the yellowness of the grass. It adds to the photos!
They are really lovely! And great shots;-)
Have a nice evening!
I love your photos and I love zebras!
Great Z post!
These are so gorgeous. Oh my word. Lovely image! As always!
I love Zebra's, they have wonderful patterns I agree with you. I never get tired of seeing them, or watching them.
Great post, love the photos!
I do love the way they show their stripes! Excellent shots - I've never seen one outside a zoo.
We only get to see zebras in our zoo!
Great photos. Not many people get to see zebras in the wild. They do seem curious, much like domestic horses would be.
Zebras are one of my very favorites! I like how they are dressed :).
They're such lovely creatures and so cool that you got to see them. Thanks for sharing these beauties with us. What a treat!
What great images from a great trip!
Love the pattern of the zebras against the beautiful naples yellow of the grasses.
The more I looked at them, the dizzier I got--I didn't realize how their patterns are almost optical illusions:) What an adventure you had to have seen so many animals in their native habitat!
Fabulous captures of the zebras! All those stripes together can make one dizzy! What a trip that must have been.
Lots of z's going around! I love those zebras-how thrilling to see them so close. Kinda cool to get the double duty with zoos too!
Zebras are always fascinating animals and for me they are all identical. Interesting post! Thank you!
very beautiful series
They look wonderful!! Thanks for sharing these with us.
It's amazing how nature reproduces each animal to look the same. I'm not sure if they are white with black stripes or are they black with white stripes.
Great Photos!
Oh, it's always SO much better to see animals in the wild rather than in zoos! Beautiful shots - despite the fact that you shot them from a moving vehicle. I know how hard that is, from our travels across the States!
Wonderful photos! they look so peaceful and beautiful, too.
