I'm having so much fun looking at the world through the lens of my Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3.
I will share my world of Rocklin, California and points North, South, East and West.
Come and enjoy with me.
Such a horrible situation. I hope that your people with their beautiful faces are not among the losses.
I feel the same way. my son grew up with a boy who has family living there. we are hoping to hear they are OK.Tonight I saw people on the news having worship on the side of a road somewhere in Haiti, demonstrating the power of their spirit.
un bel hommage aux peuples d'Haiti....
beautiful captures. really beautiful faces. but earth had other planes. it's so sad
Once I travel somewhere in the world, I never forget the people. It makes e ache to know something bad is happening to them. I sat at Chinese memorial for Sechuan (sp?) province in China. It was completely in Mandarin, and largely beyond my ability to pick up, but it broke my heart. You know I have a love for China.
Are u ok now? I m telling about your Quake..
thanks for sharing these beautiful faces. we are praying for all of the people in Haiti.
That first photo is incredible... But the horrors in Haiti are unbelievable... I think it's about time we stop instigating wars and turn our efforts towards helping humanity...
I am praying for them often and my heart so goes out to them. The Pioneer Woman is donating $.10 for every comment she gets to charities that will help the people of Haiti. Just FYI
My heart is breaking too. YOu photo's reminde me so much of some painting a did from a Wycliff Bible Translator calendar. I may post those.
We are all horrified by what has happened but you must feel it even more, having know these people.
Thank you for sharing beauty in the midst of horror. Yes, am praying.
The news from Haiti is so gut-wrenching and heartbreaking. Thanks for posting these photos.
I've never been there, but your pictures are as poignant as ever. My heart is broken thinking about that country and its people.
your portraits are always so compelling!
I feel so bad for them. I read this morning that they just found a 2 yr. old boy and a 3 month old baby barried alive under the rubble and got them safely out with out any boken bones. I feel so bad, but there is reason why everything happans.
I feel so sorry for the people of Haiti.
Absolutely gorgeous faces and portraits, Sue.Don's cousin is a missionary there, but thankfully she was in the U.S. when the quake hit. I imagine she wishes she were there though.
These faces are so beautiful.
Such gorgeous faces. WE do indeed need to support these people in any way we can.
