Thankful Thursday
I'm glad so many of you enjoy my Wordless Wednesday posts. Its fun to see where you find the "story".
That photo is also from my archives. We, Dave and I were down by a river close to us with our son and granddaughter. Steve took up the challenge of balancing rocks that could be seen along the river bank. He did a few that had more rocks to them but unfortunately I don't have the proof.
The photo has given me a few devotional thoughts for this day .
Its all about striving to live a Balanced Life that is "On Point" for the Lord.
One needs A Firm Foundation which is built on Christ ... The Solid Rock.
Always be Grateful
Always be Kind

I'm so impressed that your son did that! A good lesson for sure.
I love that!
Oh, great devotional analogies! That's so neat!! Thank you for sharing the rest of the story with us. I look forward to that! Thanks for the sweet comment on my post. And I'm sorry it's so HOT there where you are. It's cooled down a tad here and we are actually getting a nice rain tonight. I hope it just keeps raining for days! We need it so badly. Take care my friend. Always a treat to visit you.
Oh I like that! Perfect Sue.
It sure is amazing!
I have always thought how people balance rocks. I have tried to no avail. How neat!!! I am thankful for your words and thoughts about it spiritually.
Rock stacks always look so impressive. Love this one
This is so neat and such great thoughts on how we need to stay balanced. I think it is so neat to see the stacked rocks on the river banks where people have stacked them up. This one in your photo is amazing... That small little edge balancing on the other rock is a reminder that sometimes life leaves us balancing on the smallest point but we need to focus on our trust, that we can balance even when the footing feels uncertain.. I enjoyed this Sue.. Thank you for always sharing the best of photos...
Well he did a great job with the stone. Good point on striving to balance your life. Hope you have a nice weekend.
A wonderful post to go along with this rock! Thank you for linking up and I hope you, and Dave, have a wonderful weekend.
