ROUGH DAYS

Rough Days for the last few days.

The Flu hit our home with a vengeance over the weekend.

At our ages its not such a good thing.

Ours has been more of the stomach kind than having to do with the lungs.

Very thankful for that.

Today we ALMOST feel human.

Tis a long road but we can see the end of the ick may be soon.

Peaking into better days ahead.

Always be Grateful

Always be Kind

Althought I LOVE all the pictures of doors and paths that you just shared...they are my kind of favorite photos, but I am NOT happy about the fact that you have both been so sick with the flu. I am glad you are starting to feel better. I'm surprised that you preferred the stomach variety to the lung variety. Maybe because it doesn't usually last as long? But I sure hate the stomach flu. I'd rather cough and blow any day to the other. LOL. But either way it is NO fun, and I am thankful you are pulling out of it. Please just take it easy and don't go out and run a race now, okay? Let your body heal. (((HUGS)))

Oh, I just hate that for you. I hate the stomach flu! I hope that you are getting better. Did you have the flu shot?

I'm so sorry! The flu is the worst. Praying you and Dave are soon over it.
That's a really cute photo of you two!

Oh my goodness....how I love the photo of you and Dave peeking!! So very sorry that the ugly bug hit your place. There is so much going on in our area that it bothers me to go out...I can't afford to bring anything home to Sam. My little niece that lives at the home has a really bad upper respiratory infection. I was so happy though to see your post... Y'all take care.....hugs.

I'm so sorry you got the flu. We are both fighting colds. Praying that you will both feel better soon. ((HUGS)) True, it's not easy at our age and we get sick.

Oh no! This new flu is awful, and is an epidemic now. It is a new mutation and so many are dying from it. I am so glad to know you are getting better. We wear masks whenever we are around any number of people, like at the grocery store. The doctor said that is the best way to protect yourself.

I'm so sorry to hear how this crud found y'all! I dont' know what's going on, but folks we know are falling prey right and left.
These images are so good; they actually make me sit up a little straighter. I don't know what that means, except I need to up my game!

Oh my, I'm so sorry. Half our church was out this past Sunday for being sick. So far so good with me although I have been awfully sleepy and fatigued which I view as my body fighting off the bad guys! I hope your good germs prevail and send those bad ones packing!

Peeking thruough made me laugh. so sorry to hear the flu came, and hope soon to hear it is gone. the news just said the hospitals are full of the flu, most are small children, and us oldies are like children. be careful and take good care of both of you.. Bob needs hearing aids but I don't want to take him out if I don't have to because of this flu.. I had my shots he did not.
I am going to copy the this too shall pass, love it and can attest to it, myself

How I hate to hear that you have been sick, especially with the flu. I broke out in a rash on Sunday and the doctor believes it might have been caused by a virus.

Sorry you've been felled by the flu, but I'm catching up by reading backwards, so I've already seen the post that says you're on the mend.
Cute picture of you and Dave.

I'm sorry you both have been so sick. The flu season is upon us. I'm glad you are feeling better with each day. I love your green glass hen, by the way. I can't believe that so many people wanted it and they were willing to pay so much for it. And a delightful picture of you two peeking through the hold. Take care, and feel better. : )

Sue, I am late in blog reading and hope that by the time this comment is read that you and Dave are both feeling better. You are right in stating that the flu hits us older folks a bit harder.
