THANKFUL THURSDAY

 Thankful Thursday ...

Yes ... we did get a bit of rain !  We were so thankful that we got all of those heavy, dampish leaves raked and that the garbage man picked them up the following day.

We never got to the front of the house and I'm afraid that these leaves are just going to remain for a while.

It does make a pretty carpet for me to see as I sit in my "Office" aka The Dining Room.

The weather guys tell us that the Pineapple Express is on its way for the next week or so.  That means a "warm" rain day after day with very little snow in our mountains.  The lack of snow isn't good for the Valley's future water supply.

I just love this view out the window.  Looks like Christmas is coming !

Most of the rain drops have gone away but I really like this bare branch decorated with the shimmering droplets.

Of course all of these photos look best enlarged.  I have been giving my iPhone Mini a workout lately.  Practice, Practice, Practice ...

Thankful for these Words of Wisdom.

Always be Grateful

Always be Kind.

Glad you got the back yard cleared of leaves - you have a lot in the front. I love your meme and it is so true - we have to watch ourselves and what we believe. Love the photo captures too. Don't know what an iPhone mini is.

Those are great words of wisdom!
Glad you got those back yard leaves taken care of. It's raining here now and the snow is melting, but more snow is coming tonight.

It's been softly raining here since 2 this morning, but no standing water thank goodness! I think by now, our remaining leaves will just be fodder/nourishment for what lies below.
Love those photographs -- especially the droplets!

It's the same here when we don't get enough rain. This morning it's a mix of rain and snow so far. Yesterday it was 53

Oh, that last quote is really good. And I LOVE the pictures of the raindrops, leaves, branches, etc., they are all so special. I love seeing the beauty in God's artistry in His creation. There's always something lovely to see when we look for it. And that carpet of leaves is beautiful! I would leave it alone. Nature will take its course and they will blow away in due time. That's my thoughts anyway! Have a lovely day. We didn't get much rain last night. Very light indeed, and I was disappointed, but God knows what we need, so I will just have to trust Him and be patient. Be blessed my friend.

Hope you get the snow that you need on the mountain. LOVE the droplets. They look so good and so fun to shoot. Is your son able to get your camera fixed? I did see his YouTube page with his buddy. Great that he enjoys what he does so much. That's the best! The best!

Sure has to feel good to get the backyard cleared of the leaves. Our yard right now is Covered with pecan tree leaves. These things are so annoying. they break up as the fall and we end up with the leaves and then the long stem which connects the leaves. Can you believe we are having record Highs around here..the temps make it hot enough to snarl your nose at the thought of hot cocoa. So much for ugly Christmas sweaters. lol. I sure hope you all have the sweetest Christmas and that your Blessings will be plentiful..Hard to believe that Christmas is only days away. Enjoy this wonderful day Sue...hugs and bigger hugs..
