Finally Friday ... Five days to go ... Fleeting ...
I have to share some good news for us.
We sold a good money-maker for our check book.
This is an antique educational toy model steam engine. It was developed to show kids how steam energy could be produced mechanically.
It is from around the early 1900's.
We are so happy that the model is on its way and the money is in our pocket.
Thanking the good Lord for this timely sale.

Ohhh, that photograph of the cousins under Grandma's tree is the best! Is that tinsel I see hanging? 52 years ago doesn't seem that long ago, does it?
Congrats on that big sale!
I'm happy for you selling that steam engine.
That photo of the kids under the tree is a treasure! That's a reason I try to take one every year, even though the kids aren't thrilled about it! :)
The kids are all so happy and joyful in the photo! I have never seen a mini steam engine before, it is so cool!
Good for you! I have no idea what it is and must have brought in a pretty penny being so old. God's timing is always perfect
Merry Christmas to ya'll hugs 🫂 🤗 💖
I like that photo of the kids and the tree looks like what we always had growing up. my mother loved icicles and lots of them. I like the way old photos look, even when I don't know the people in them. so very happy your steam engine sold. its a real treasure and I know the person that bought it will love it..
Congratulations on the sale. That's a very interesting piece. Love the flashback pictures. I especially like the one of the kids. It's always nice to look back on those times with fond memories.
Congratulations on the steam engine sale! I hope it was a good price and that the person who got it will do something interesting with it. I wonder if he'll write a story on a blog and invite everyone to come see it? That's what I would do. LOL. I LOVE the photo of your young children and family at Christmas! What a happy picture, filled with happy memories. I love those old family photos. We forget how little our kids were and how cute and happy everyone was! Precious memories. Thank you for sharing it all with us today. I hope you are having a good day today. Love to all.
