EARLY CHRISTMAS !

 Early Christmas ...

Yesterday, Sunday was a wonderful day of celebration.  Activities this year are a little bit different, but its all good.

After church our son Steve and daughter in love, Sigrid came to our home to have an early Christmas celebration.

Its always fun to have the lights twinkling and the atmosphere so full of peace and joy.

Steve and Sigrid cooked the entire Feast for us.

Oh my it was so good.

Prime Rib roast and fresh crab !

The Roast all prepped and getting ready to go in the oven.
Dave is all about Beef.
He was one Happy Camper ...

Steve and I are the only ones who like crab.
We had these monsters all to ourselves ...

Lots of good conversation and listening to Christmas Carols while eating the tasty dinner.

We even set up a Face-time call with our Granddaughter that lives in Las Vegas.
I'm sorry that we somehow missed photographing her hubby during the call.

After dinner and opening a few wonderful gifts we went to a Christmas program and concert at our former church.
It was the icing on the cake for us.

We found great seats on the ground floor.
Don't you love the Photo-bomber in the background?
Sure glad he was smiling 😊

We feel so blessed.
We missed our other son Mark and his family and our grands but we are so grateful for the computer/face time and cel phones.  It really helps us keep in touch across the miles.

God is Good All the Time
and All the Time God is Good

Always be Grateful

Always be Kind

What a lovely Christmas dinner. The food looked so good. I know for the holidays it is hard when the family is far away. I understand. Hope the Christmas Program was good.

Wowzer .. your tree looks stunning; I love those white lights!
Having someone prepare a feast like this must feel like such a treat ... almost like royalty. (Deservedly so, lol.)
As ever, thank you for sharing your Christmas joy.

It all looks so nice! Wow, nice having 2 good cooks in the family. What a special treat to just sitback, relax and let them do all the work.
Your tree is gorgeous. So perfectly decorated. All my family is here. I'm happy no one has to travel to see each other.

What a wonderful night you had with your son. The prime rib looks delicious with all the spices and seasonings. And Crab is one of the few fish I will eat. My brother-in-law were fishermen on the great waters of Alaska and would bring us fresh crab sometime, and it sure was tasty. It's always nice to face-time our loved ones in between visits. Your Christmas tree is so pretty, and I love that little gnome I see in the background. A lovely family pic of all of you too.

Merry Christmas to you, and it's nice to have met you this year. Have a special and merry week.

Nice looking prime rib, much better than taking a chance on turkey that can turn out dry. You're lucky the photo bomber was happy, unlike some who stick their tongue out or give the middle finger.

you received my favorite gift of all gifts, for any holiday or birthday, NOT COOKING the meal... Bob would have devoured the beef and at least on crab.. I would have dove on any bread you might have. I don't eat crab, but my parents did, and beef I eat rarely and I never eat rarely beef.. your tree is so sparkling and beautiful and I love the happy faces at the table...

I like crab, but not if I have to crack it.
