I came across a post which had strange words with double meanings in my English language.
Thought you might get a smile out of them.
I really feel sorry for people trying to learn the confusing words.
This weekend was another hot one but we had a good Sunday anyway.
Church and going out to brunch with our son and DIL and another couple we have known for almost 40 years. Brunch was at William Jessup University. The cafe is open to the public and it is a great buffet, everything from omelettes to London Broil dinner yesterday. Their salad bar is really, really good.
Its a great place to eat and visit and close to home. Win/Win.
Of course, I didn't take any photos. I will try to remember next time we go. $12.35 each isn't a bad price for Sunday brunch.
Always be Grateful
Always be Kind

That's pretty interesting about those words. Sounds like a great Sunday. Hope your week goes well.
I love this word thing!! I have read that English is one of the hardest languages to learn, and this kind of proves it. What a nice holiday weekend you had!

I feel bad for people trying to learn the English language. It's confusing, for sure. Your brunch sounds good!
That is an excellent price. Glad you enjoyed your Sunday!
