I couldn't believe what I saw when I looked out Dave's office window at our side yard.
The Sweet Gum tree is beginning to be dressed in its Fall gown.
What happened to Summer? We are finally getting some Summer temps this week. The weather people say it will be in the mid 90's for the next 7 days. At least we don't have the humidity like the south does. I'm "wilt-ie" enough as it is..😅😜
I just want to thank you for all the prayers and concern for Steve's business partner.
He is at camp with Steve this final week. Mark is taking it easy but he is so happy to be doing what he loves to do, even though his voice is weak and rough from the 4 days of intubation. It really is a God miracle that he is alive. The doctors didn't think he was going to make it. I'm still praying he won't overdo things.
God is good and this is a real testimony to all who know him.
Always be Grateful.
Always be Kind.

I am so glad about Mark. You are kidding about Fall! But I do see it with my own eyes!! Crazy; it's not even August yet!! And with global warming, this is nuts. It has been almost 100 here. The leaves are probably dying of heat stroke!
Praise God for Mark's recovery!
When I saw your header, at first I thought you were pulling our legs. The last two days our meteorologists have declared a "First Alert" for the absurd heat and humidity. At this point I don't even care how high the grass is getting; no use courting a cardiac arrest!
That is unusual. I haven’t seen that here. We usually don’t start loosing our leaves until Nov. Even in Dec we still have some leaves hanging on.
Good news on Steve’s partner.
I'm happy about Mark. There is no fall here in Georgia yet. I love the black and white with the red leaf.
That does seem early for a tree to have changing colors so early.
Glad to hear Mark is doing better. Good that he was able to go to camp too and maybe have a little recuperative fun
Great news about Mark!
I hope you get some more summer before autumn makes an appearance.
Glad to hear about Mark! Hot and in the 90's here in KY, with full humidity. We are getting a break with fall temps on Friday. I am ready for the season change!
So thankful that Mark is doing much better. Colors already? How cool is this? Our temps are horrible this week with them being above a hundred. Add in the humidity and it is steaming. Enjoy those cooler temps or better yet, blow them our way.
I have to admit, I am thankful we don't get the humidity too. Interesting that the tree is changing already. I'm happy to hear that Steve is at the camp. God is good. Take care.
LOL we got your summer right here in Colorado! Just trying now to recover from the heat of morning walk.
about marching band....so many good memories, it got me through high school! We had to wear these hot wool uniforms, so old and stained! in Tampa Florida, with big furry hats with a plume! I once passed out standing on field at attention, holding my alto clarinet, straight back still holding the instrument! Came to with two paramedics undoing that coat and hauling me to the medic tent!
LeeAnna at not afraid of color and LAPaylor at gmail dot com if you want to tell me your band stories!!
Oh my I am. not quite ready for the leaves to change yet. We have had beastly hot and humid weather all summer it seems like and I'm in New England. It is cooler this week which I am very thankful for.
Happy your Mark is doing better. And! I can't wait for Fall! It's just hot!
Happy weekend!
hugs
Donna
Summer is fading fast, even here in Kentucky! Thank you for linking up.
