HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SUMMER

Family is all gone and we are back to our daily routine.

What a wonderful time it has been to have our sons and family together.

I am so very grateful.

Believe it or not I even got several "honey-do" things accomplished by Mark.

We desperately needed a new shower head put on in the master bath.

Of course that was a simple thing for Mark to do, but , we found out that the main faucet needed to be replaced to make the whole thing work without having any drips.

So we had to buy a new faucet which came with no Instructions !!!

Thank goodness for uTube...and things didn't fit exactly right the first time.  An hour later we have a new combo that works and has more pressure than ever before.

How to spend your final day ... Son and Dad spending time together in the bathroom. 😃

Yay, it was so nice to take a shower and have enough pressure to get the shampoo out of my hair.  The appliances don't match but I don't care.  They get the job done !

Our final meal all together was at a new restaurant that just opened.

It was called Habachi Buffet.  The place was huge and there was every manner of Asian cuisine and American palate.  Delicious... We certainly got our money's worth.  Not much on the ambiance but our tummies were full.

We love our Family and will cherish this special week together FOREVER.

Always be Grateful

Always be Kind

I'm with you, who cares if they all match or not! I sure don't. I'd rather have working appliances, water spouts, or whatever. Besides, I think it must be "in" to have mismatching items. I'm good with it. lol 💖

How wonderful!!! I know it was sad to see them all go home again, but you have such happy memories now of the time spent together, and all the things that you all accomplished together! Love that father/son work on the shower fixtures together! Oh, I love it when our sons help us with special things like that! Younger minds and nimble fingers and strength do make a difference some times!!! Especially when there are NO instructions and YouTube has to be consulted! But thank the Lord for Youtube! We use it for such projects a LOT! Sweet times...now I bet you are just kicking back and relaxing for a spell. (((hugs)))

Well, men seem to bong with sports and fix-it projects, so the last day of them together sounds good!

What a great time! You had a big sale, cleaned out stuff, made money, got things fixed and best of all, had precious time with family!

Yes to what Ginny said. Men like to bond with other men with fix-it activities. Glad they could do that together. It all sounds like a pleasurable time with family. I know you’re tired but may that afterglow of family time stay with you and fill you with love!

Yeah!! I feel your pain with getting faucets/plumbing stuff to work. Glad you were able to get it repaired :)

I'm so happy for you, Sue. Sounds like time spent with those you love exceeded expectations in a big way!
Yay for the new shower head ... and menfolks' bonding experience. We had to have a professional (plumber) out this afternoon ($$$), but I'm just chalking it up to the cost of doing life.

How wonderful it is to have a son who can also be a handy man. I am so happy for you all to have gotten to spend this time together. The pictures have all shown some very happy faces. It is always sad when families have to say their sweet goodby's and see ya laters, but oh the wonderful memories that you can look back on all that happened this week. thanks Sue for sharing your family with us this past week...

It's so good to have sons or son in laws to help fix things when they visit. You sound so happy to have them all visit. Enjoy your showers.
