Thank you for all of the wonderful comments these last several weeks.
We are so blessed. Both Dave and I are finally feeling more or less "normal" now.
The house is quiet and we have begun to put things back in their rightful places.
One of the things we tried to sell was what we call "Mark's Throne". It is an antique that Dave's Dad bought at auction at least 75 years ago.
What to do with it since its still in our garage?? We tried it several places in our house and it sure didn't look like it belonged. This is where it finally found its home. I think it looks pretty good and doesn't block light or has it become the "elephant" in the room. Mark thought it looked pretty good there and its still his chair, if we can ever sell it or he can get it back up to Oregon some time in the future.
We moved another chair to the other side of the table .
And so we think this will work.
On another note;
In reading Myra's ( Respice, Prospice ) latest blog post I was fascinated by her Mildew Mary picture.
I have a similar thing with my Funky Froggie. My colorful Frog has sat on a rock in our backyard for 18 years, officially 18 years as of today! Now he is all blue and well worn. I just can't seem to say good bye to Frankie, so there he sits through all kinds of weather.
I do love Frankie's expression.
I'm so grateful for the neighbor's bougainvillea that peaks over our fence.
Its such a bright spot behind our grape vines. It doesn't look like we will get any fruit this year but at least the leaves look healthy.
The "lawn" is pretty bad but its still our space to enjoy.
Two nights ago the skunk visited us again. Fortunately we had our sliding glass door closed but he came right up to the pane and looked at us, then waddled away. No smell but I just don't like a "Peeping Tom" in our yard.
Praying for a good week ahead.
Always be Grateful
Always be Kind

Glad you are settling into normalcy again. I think the throne looks good where you put it!
Frankie is pretty cute. :)
The throne kind of matches your china cabinet! So it looks good this close together. Freddie appreciates you keeping him, I'm sure. He looks sweet and friendly, but maybe not quite all there? So it would be hard for him to find a better home.
The throne - that is so funny. I am glad you are getting a little bit feeling more normal. I LOVE your frog.
Your skunk visitor sounds friendly!
The skunk wuvs you!
A week without skunk I hope. Take care!
