WONDERFUL SUNDAY

 Sunday was a wonderful day.

We got to visit for a short time with our oldest granddaughter Lauren.

She was in town for the wedding shower her sister Amanda was giving.

At least we got to see her at church and then out to lunch to talk like mad for a few hours.

We haven't seen her since October and there was much to catch up on.  It was almost like we were never apart.

It was hard to say good bye, but it was back to Las Vegas, where she lives, to see her hubby and  back to the End of Month grind at her work.

We are so blessed to have wonderful Grandchildren.

Always be Grateful

Always be Kind

She is a lovely young lady. Glad you had this time with her and could enjoy a nice lunch as well as a little visiting later. It is so hard when we only get to see the grands a few times a year. Four of our Six grandkids live a good distance away and we only see them a few times a year. One still lives at home and I see her everyday. The other one lives about 10 miles away and we see him at least once a week. I know she enjoyed getting big hugs from you both. Grandchildren are such blessings aren't they? Enjoy this already half gone Monday.

I bet that was a nice visit for you and she enjoyed it too. I grew up away from my grandparents- they were in Tennessee. I remember my grandma holding me so tight, not wanting to let go. So my dad decided we would get up early and leave without any emotional fanfare because it always left us sad and emotional on our long drive back to California. After awhile, I think she expected it. We made sure to have a memorable evening before we left.
She’s a pretty young lady and I can see the family resemblance.
We’re having some beautiful weather aren’t we? Get out and enjoy before the summer blast! đŸ’¥

How wonderful that was. The photos are great and believe me, having James in my life is a huge blessing so I know where you are coming from.

How wonderful that you were able to visit with your granddaughter before she had to go back home. She has such a beautiful smile.

That's a great reunion with her - but sounds so nice and happy you had that time with her. We've been busy since the week before Easter - lots of family was in town and a few still are. Great to see grandkids and wow, do they grow up quick.

Beautiful! When all around I hear how my friends' grands don't have time (make time) to spend, you and Dave are so blessed!

Reconnecting with Lauren after so long must have been so special. It's beautiful how the time together felt so effortless, like no time had passed at all. Family moments like those are truly priceless. Wishing you many more moments of joy with your wonderful grandchildren! Stay blessed.

How wonderful to read about and see the photos of your granddaughter and the two of you. Even the shortest get togethers can be sweet as yours surely was as described, Sue.
