Yesterday was such a nice day for Dave and I.
We received a lunch invitation from some dear friends that are in our bible study group. They have moved to Oregon and were down here in the Sacramento area for business.
They also invited another couple. Joe is the leader of our group. He had open heart surgery back in January and finally is regaining his energy back. The surgery was successful and a full recovery takes 6 to 9 months. It was so good to see him and his wife again.
Needless to say we enjoyed our lunch and talked ninety miles an hour, catching up on the last 5 or 6 months.
We feel so blessed to have such wonderful friends and cherish our times together. Of course we talked so much that I didn't even take one photo. My heart took all the memory pictures and there will be a next time to do the photos..😊
I thought I would share several pretty plant flowers. They blossom on our hedge...not sure what its called but it sure is pretty.

This plant is called Photina. If you right click on the photo, you should get an option to do a visual search, and it will show you what it is. I don't think I have ever seen one, it is so pretty and has so much going on!

Always good to get together with old friends. I've gone out to lunch several times recently with friends and totally forget about getting pictures.
Friendship is one of the treasures of life. How great you were able to spend time and lunch with them. The photos are stunning!!

That is always so special, when you have dear friends you haven't seen in a while and it's like you never were apart because the friendship is so special. And that plant/flower is very lovely! The Photinia plants make for great hedges. We had a hedge of it in our back yard a few years ago. Isn't is wonderful to meet with good friends and share not only good food, but welcoming conversations. I am so happy that you all were able to get together and enjoy this time together. Glad your friend is recovering well. Both of these things are wonderful blessings...his healing and getting together with old friends. Love it!!
