ALWAYS BE THANKFUL

This past weekend I had a chance to be thankful in a tangible way.

I am always so grateful for the things our next door neighbors do for us like cutting our front lawn and all that goes along with that.

I had run out of eggs so I couldn't bake my usual banana bread.  I decided to buy some donut holes for a change of pace.  I went to our local family owned donut shop called "Donuts and Cinnamon".

Here is "Papa" and his son David with our Mayor, celebrating them and their business.

Just thought I would throw this photo in to give you a smile today.

I bought donut holes fresh from the bakery oven and made a fancy plate for Mike and Shirley.

Then I made this sign to say my Thank You's.

Then

Believe it or not , I forgot to take a photo of the finished product.

They loved the "gift" and I spent an hour visiting with Shirley and catching up on things.  It was such a nice time.

I am so thankful and grateful for neighbors that have become friends too.

So Remember ...

Always be Grateful

Always be Kind

This is the "sweetest" and I love the photo of the donut Queen...Having good neighbors is such a Blessing. If you are like me, I love visiting with my neighbors but I just do not do it often enough... Glad you all had the hour to catch up on things. Now I'm hungry for donuts and especially some banana bread. Sure wish I were your neighbor..

How clever you are ... and thoughtful, too! Again, you remind me it doesn't take a lot to mean a lot. You are a blessing!

What a blessing to have such good neighbors.
Love the sign you made for them, as well as the Donut Queen one.
P.S. The AirPods Pro 2 were under $200 on Amazon and if you have Prime, shipping is free and they can be returned if you are not happy with them--https://amzn.to/42z2E6m

great idea... you are the queen of donuts. we are now to the point of no one to cut the grass, but are ok because the grass is not growing. not sure what we will do when it does. bob is using a walker just to get around the house. we think the gabapentin is the cause and stopping it today.

Such a "Sweet" and thoughtful gift. I am certain your neighbors appreciated the fresh baked donuts. It's been a long time since I had any, but we have a new Dunkin' Donuts opening up in our town later this week, so we hope to pay them a visit and test their products! Loved the pictures, especially the "Donut Queen". You are the best neighbor ever, I am quite certain.
