GOD'S ANSWERS

I am definitely thanking the Lord for His care and answers to our prayers.

Dave went to the dentist Monday.  We are all "good" now.

Poor Dave was in so much pain and his face was so swollen.

Our daughter in law is a RDA and assisted the dentist in the procedure.

The price for the oral surgery was going to be hefty but it had to be done.

It was determined that Dave didn't need oral surgery but just extractions of 2 teeth.

That meant that the cost was $200.00 LESS than before and we could be on a payment plan.  The blessing was that we got a senior discount and a small family discount.  This is now do-able.  When one doesn't have dental insurance and no credit cards...life can get pretty sticky.

Dave's on antibiotics and the swelling is going down.  Now things are still sensitive but the real pain is gone.  Yay !!!

These past few months have really been something.  I have to admit that I am ready for some smoother sailing in the future.

I really need to get out and shoot a few new photos.

Thank goodness for my archives.

Always be Grateful

Always be Kind

Sad that he has to loose 2 teeth. We need to keep as many as we can as we get older. But thank goodness it didn't cost as much as anticipated.

I'm so thankful Dave's no longer in pain. The rest? I remember my sweet dad saying, "It's just money."

So thankful that Dave is no longer in pain and that the pain to your bank account wasn't as bad as it could have been. I'm wondering if you have a Medicare Advantage Plan? They do have dental and eye doctor coverage in addition to prescriptions and all other medical issues, whereas straight Medicare I guess does not have dental or eye care? We have an Advantage plan, and it has been a real blessing. And it doesn't cost any extra beyond what they take out of our SS already for Medicare. You just have to sign up for it in the enrollment period, which of course is already passed for this year. I'm not advertising or selling...just wondering if you have considered that option and if it would work for you better in the future? None of my business, I know, but I was just concerned that you didn't have any dental coverage at all. Anyway, I'm glad they gave you discounts and that it wasn't as bad as you thought it would be and he is no longer in pain! That's the best part. (((hugs))) for you both. Praying you both feel a lot better soon!!! And your photos are lovely.

I am going to wish you some smoother sailing too - you have had too much! Thank God for pulling and discounts. We need dentists more than anything - well a lot - when we get older.

Thank you Lord for this blessing. YAY and I am jumping for joy... I just thought the same thing this morning, that I need to take an hour and go somewhere and find a few photos not in or around this house

Well that's good news that he is out of pain. Really happy to read this. Divine direction is always available if we invite it in and let go of trying to control things ourselves. It turned out better than you expected.

I’m glad it all worked out. Bad teeth and gums can be very painful. He should be feeling better soon.
I hope for smooth sailing for you both from now on! ⛵️

I am glad that everything worked out for the best. Dental care is so very expensive.
