YAY ... WE'VE BEEN LET OUT OF OUR CAGE !!!

Yesterday I felt like we had been let out of the cage.

We were invited to a reunion of many of the people from our former church.  There has been an exodus from the church in San Francisco to living here in the greater Sacramento Valley area.

Many of us because of children moving here.  A lot of us were active in choir and small singing groups.  We had a potluck and music to be enjoyed.

There were 30 wonderful friends eating around multiple tables.

Friends that are like family....

We came to that church in the very early 1980's, and have remained close friends ever since.

I didn't get many photos and those I got weren't so hot but they are memories for me.

I know my daughter in law took some group photos which I will hopefully get copies later.

We are definitely a "family" of Huggers.

Lots of cousins and brothers catching up on life.

I love seeing my friends that I have known for so many years.
The Scandinavians were well represented.

My very favorite photo...
My son Steve listening to my hubby, Dave.
Great conversations all around.

Gary was our choir director many years ago.
He is a master violinist.
The sweet music of Oh Holy Night will forever be in my memory.
Unfortunately I couldn't get my video and sound to work...boo...

Annalisa plays a gorgeous cello or is it a viola? I am not sure but the low melodious sounds were lovely.  Her sister Elsa is a classical pianist.
I was like a sponge soaking it all in.

I really felt like Christmas had finally come.  It was so wonderful to sit and sing the carols with such grand music.

My heart is full.

Hurray! I totally cherish friends who feel like family. That song, "Oh, Holy Night" is my all-time favorite.
Steve listening so intently to what his dad is saying touches my heart.

Oh Sue, it doesn''t get any better than that, visiting with old friends and sharing our lives together. Loved the pictures, and Dad and son are looking more alike..the bald heads. HaHa

How nice! Making more precious memories. Love the pics. I think a lot of folks are seeing the handwriting on the wall about California. Get out now while you still can. I wouldn't put it past Newsom to lock up Christians next or try to. He's an evil man.
God bless. Merry CHRISTmas! 😊
