We are so very thankful for the return to health.
Dave is doing quite well and I think we are both getting our energy back.
That being said ...the house is clean but there are only a few things up that say
Christmas. The thought of getting everything out and having to put it all away in a few short weeks is just too daunting for me this year.
So
Here are several of the things that are full of sentimental memories for me.
This is our Nativity set that we brought back from Kenya way back in 2009.
I love that it is all hand made and tells the story in a lovely compact version.

Those are treasures. The nativity is beautiful. I've never seen pine cone trees - so creative and so special.
I love that nativity! Our Pastor was born in Gabon, Africa, to missionary parents, and last Sunday, they displayed all the different nativities from all the different places they lived. Yours is one, you never see. A one-of-a-kind, here in the States!
I've never seen a Christmas Pine Cone Tree. A real keeper.
The nativity is really lovely. I have never seen a tree like this, your Mom was a talented crafter!
I've always loved pinecones, but never saw anything like this. Truly exquisite, Sue. Hugs!
Very unique items. The nativity is so wonderful. I agree with you - relax this year you have had a lot going on.
What a unique and lovely nativity. That pinecone tree is a real treasure.
Oh, my! The pinecones are wonderful....and I love that nativity set.
Sometimes, little is more. I like your simple but precious decorations. I love the Nativity from Kenya, and those Christmas trees so reminde me of some my Mother in Law made years ago. We are not doing Christmas Eve this year. It's just to hard for Don to do a late Christmas Eve, and then all day Christmas. We will have our own little private Eve and probably watch "The Navitiy" and drink hot chocolate!!
Our grandkids decorated our tree and we put out a few things but that is plenty for us. I love your ornaments!
I totally can relate to you about getting out the decorations. I've only put about 1/4 out and no ornaments on the tree. I just can't this year. Your nativity is amazing. I am so impressed with those pinecone. I actually collect pinecones. Those are amazing. Hope you have a nice weekend and a Very Merry Christmas.
Your nativity is beautiful and unique, something I love about handmade things. Also, the pine cones are a new craft to me, but adorable and precious that your MIL made them. Thank you for linking up and have a blessed week ahead!
The decorations are wonderful! Love the nativity scene!!
Merry Christmas!
hugs
Donna
