SHORT UPDATE

 Good News !!

Dave has been given the all clear today.

The drain did the job and he has been released.

The drain is gone and we will slowly get back to "normal", what ever that really is.

The surgeon in reading all the test reports feels it did have something to do with divirticulocisis which when it gets infected fluids it turns to divirticulitis. Sp? The gall bladder stone fragment could have had something to do with the infection too.

We are really tired and are going to take it easy today.14 days of sedentary life will take some time to renew our energy.

Thank you for all your care and concerns.  We cherish every one of you.

Sue

I know diverticulosis is bad. And it is probably an infectious fluid - in the colon - but how did it get out of the colon? I think the human body is totally amazing and made by God. I am glad he is home - R E S T ! Both of you.

I am an expert at 'actively rest" ha ha, if you need any pointers. I saw Sandi's comment. love it. so happy to hear he is released and I hope you are not out of the recliner and back in a comfy bed at night. hold on, you are now going up up up and soon the roller coaster will DROP. sorry had to say that. I do pray the roller coaster has been NIXED! and is totally gone

So glad the all clear has been given. What a time you two have had. When Roger had his stroke someone kept telling me would have a new normal...and we do. Have developed a couple new normals. But then I refer to life BS(Before Stroke) and life now.
