FOREVER GRATEFUL

I am forever Grateful to our Lord and to all of you wonderful people out in "Blogland".

I believe we have turned the corner.  Dave was back in ER yesterday afternoon with pain that I couldn't seem to get under control.  They changed his dressing and did NOT find any infection or serious problems.  The drain was working properly and it seem to be that he just doesn't have as much to drain any longer.

All in all, we were sent home with additional pain meds and a followup phone appt. with the surgeon tomorrow.  They will make a decision as to when the "thing" will be removed.  I truly hope it is very soon.  We were exhausted and it was after 8PM when we got in the door.  Fortunately we had 2 tv dinners in the freezer, popped them in the microwave and had dinner asap.

We both slept in the recliners and actually slept pretty much the entire night.

I know we both needed that sleep, especially not interrupted by pain spasms.

Today there is sunshine and there is SonShine in my soul.

I thought this photo was appropriate since I feel like we have gone through a Valley of Fire.

Love you guys

Sue

Oh my goodness what a trip - and not a good one. But there is hope and he is doing better. Thank God!

Praise the Lord for medical professionals' swift action. Like Sandie just said, there's HOPE to be had. Thank you for this update and I love the photo reference to the Valley of Fire. Still praying!

So good to hear things are looking better and your husband is healing. Take care, you two.

Jesus healed everyone who came to Him in the bible, and some who didn't.

So happy to hear that your hubby is feeling better and that it sounds like the medicine and the Lord are working together to help him heal. We will definitely be praying for him and you as they do surgery to correct the issue hopefully for good. (((hugs)))

Good news that the corner has been turned and you both got a good night's sleep. Praying now they have found the source, it can be properly taken care of and he won't have anymore issues. Also continuing to pray the Lord would guide the hands of the surgeon, and for a speedy and complete recovery for Dave..
