SATURDAY BITS AND PIECES

Today is bright and shiny outside.  The temperature at 9:30 AM is only 45F.

It did get down to 36F and there was a little bit of frost in the nooks and crannies of the roofs.

I guess the seasons have officially changed around here.

I love the textures and the shadows I see in our side yard.

I wasn't really on the computer yesterday.

It was a better day at Lynne's.  I am so grateful for all the prayers and support.

I came home to my Hubby suffering from the flu or maybe another bout of diviculitus.  It wasn't a fun afternoon and night.  I got everything ready to take a trip to the ER.  Thankfully that didn't happen.

Really tired  and we will see what this day holds for us.

This Getting Old really isn't for Sissies.

And so my day rolls on...

Here's a "funny" to give you a smile.

Always be Grateful

Always be Kind

Oh goodness, I hope he starts getting better. I had diverticulitis for years, and finally had to have surgery for it. A soft bland diet is good when it is acting up. Love the colors there, and how you captured the sunny spots on them.

Sorry to hear about your husband’s diverticulitis. I hope he starts feeling better soon. Pretty pictures. It was very cold this morning but instead of staying home, we took Laydee and went on a hike around the Whiskeytown area. It was really cold there, closest to the lake. Burrrrr.
I like the “substitooths” Yep a missed opportunity!

I like the photos and glad that Lynn had a better day. We are thinking of turning our heat on today. We are cold too!

I may have just giggled outloud! (Not at your hubby's pain, but that meme). Praying he'll feel better soon and no trip to ER's necessary. Between my late mother and now my hubby, I keep a bug-out bag at the ready. We should have been Boy Scouts: "Be Prepared"!

PS - Love those trees!

So glad your hubby didn't have to go to ER, but I pray he feels much better soon. That's NO fun! Also glad things were better with your friend Lynne. That's a blessing. I do love the pretty colors and textures you captured in your yard. Very pretty. Today was a lovely cooler day here too. It was good to get outside for a little while. Fall is here, at least what WE call fall here in Florida! Have a wonderful rest of your weekend.
