Dave said you need to go out and take a picture or two of our Manzanita Tree.
The bark is shedding. I love the colors and curly pieces up and down the trunk.
No sun today and we have some pretty windy gusts too.
Tomorrow its suppose to be 100F... Goodie ... Goodie ... NOT !
Dave's are better but at least I have a record of it.

Years ago my father made a beautiful stock for a shotgun out of Manzanita wood. It was beautiful.

Is your manzanita tree potted? We bought two small saplings a couple of years ago at a California native nursery here. They're growing.

this tree is news to me. wow what gorgeous wood.. I would like to see the gun stock that was made from it. even the peelings are pretty. good job hubby coming in to tell you to show them to us.. Manzanita is a cool name for a tree
