MEMORIES TO LAST A LIFETIME

Last night was a wonderful time for us.

Our Small Group/Bible Study "Family" had such a fantastic time together.

We have been gathering at our house for the last 10 years.

Deep and loving friendships have been bound together .

Last night was no exception.  We hadn't met since December 5th so there was a whole lot of catching up to be done...

Lots of laughter, some heartache, some trauma, some silliness and great food.

Love Overflowing.

These photos are mostly for me but CANDID SHOTS are never really flattering.

We celebrated 3 birthdays with a yummy chocolate strawberry shortcake.  It was delish.

Potlucks are the best.

Dave and I were sitting at the end of the table so we could get 11 around it together.

So unfortunately our faces aren't shown but that's ok.

Feeling Blessed...

Such an amazing evening with dear friends. Our memories are such special gifts and we are wise to capture them in photos.

Such wonderful photos. I can see the love in everyone's faces. It's heartwarming. This makes me miss how our first Church family at First Baptist Church Blackshear used to divide up into groups and meet in each others homes once a month. It was a different home or restaurant each time. It was called Salt Shakers, I guess because as Believers we're supposed to be the "salt and the light" to this lost and dying world. It was a lot of fun. We even bought a bigger table so folks could meet at our tiny home in the boonies. We've all scattered to the winds now which happened during the scamdemic never to return. At least we're all still friends. I really miss those days though. At least we have happy memories to treasure.
Blessings. 💙

Love the quote at the end. It seems to describe this happy event so well.
