Tonight is our on-line photo club meeting via Zoom.
The challenge this week is: " Put Down Your Fancy Camera and Make a Wall Hanger with your Cell Phone...
Sometimes it is difficult to be intentional and seek out things to photograph with my phone. A lot of the time I use it for spur of the moment photography.
Here's what I finally decided to submit... not totally thrilled with it but I do like it.
Dave and I went to Quarry Park and walked the trail around the small lake.
I spied this gnarled tree root and really liked the textures and shadows.
I had to stand on my tippy toes to get it. There was a taller than I could see over, fence in my way. Dave helped me balance my phone so I didn't drop it over the edge.
I then transitioned this to black and white... I really can't decide which I like better but the color one was submitted anyway.
So we'll see what others feel about it,,,😀
Happy Monday to you all...

its beautiful and all my photos for the past 3 years are cell phone, my camera died and I can't afford a new one. i bet there will be a lot of nice photos and that they will love yours
I liked it - not sure if my house would have room - but it is very nice if I had a bigger house!
I like them both, but that little splash of color in the bottom right corner caught my eye.
Not feeling like a black and white day...haha.
I usually prefer color, but this one has me liking each one equally! At first I thought it was some kind of stone with a huge hole in it.
I love it. That is a very interesting photo. The black and white is perfect!
I like it very much. Nature is the best subject :)
Lots of interesting texture there. Nice shadows.
Well done! I like them both...Crazy shaped tree!
hugs
Donna
