ANOTHER "GOT NOTHING" DAY

I haven't posted for a while and thought I had better get on the ball.

The weather is still hot and muggy.  Thankfully no storm damage here in the Sacramento Valley.  We really could use some of that rain, BUT..not all the mud slides.

I really don't have much to say.. Still recovering from my cough but doing so much better.

My friend Lynne that I do caregiving for has been in the hospital for a few days.

This is her second UTI.  Alzheimer's and proper self care is getting harder to maintain.  She had so much confusion at the hospital.  Hope things will be better when she gets home in her own familiar surroundings.

Talk about RANDOM... but why don't people that are walking their dogs pick up after they do their business?

Went out to bring in the garbage cans this morning and there was a HUGE "plop" right on the middle of our driveway!!  Ugh...most people are kind and clean up but my goodness...there was no way to "miss" this deposit!!!

End of rant

Okay, that's all I've got for today...😊😏😜😜

Good Morning Sue. Trying to get back into the swing of things. The surgery went well and I can see so clearly now. Have my post op appointment on Thursday, and most likely will be released to get back to doing the things I do. Still have 3 more weeks of eyedrops. Don has been a dear, putting in the drops 4 times a day.

Glad you are getting over that cough. I know each day has to be hard for Lynn and the family and you as one of her caregivers.

We didn't have any problems with the tropical storm here....just rained all day!! we needed that.
Well lets see if I can find somthing to write about on my blog...it's been a while!

That was a gross surprise. Yuck!

It appears to be hot across the whole United States. Sorry about the woman you take care of. Hope she is feeling better soon. People need to pick up after their dogs. Take care and choose happy!

I love the quote about life!! change is so hard and upsetting for Alzheimer's patients. Especially having to live in a different place. So glad you are feeling better!

I know what you mean about the dogs. We have two big pecan trees and I hope we get a harvest this year but it's too soon to say. When we DO - it's disappointing to be gathering the pecans in our baskets and trying not to step in messes. Or sit in them as I usually sit on the grass and gather the nuts all around me.

I worked the Book Fair Open House tonight for the Middle School and am so impressed with this school. Praise God for good schools and teachers and principles. My heart was greatly encouraged tonight!

Hoppe you got some of the rain, at least. Horrible for the mudslide areas!
Probably a stray dog running through your property...
hugs

the people who don't pick up poop are the same ones that throw trash out the car windows, take things out of the boxes they come in and leave the boxes in walmart parking lot. I talked to the young man that cleans up the mess each morning and he said it is never ending what he finds out there. and you would not want to see the conditon of their homes I would think.
glad you are feeling better and hope it leaves you completely soon. Glad you got no damage from the storm.

I hate those random deposits which aren’t cleaned up by the owners. We sometimes see them along the boardwalk.

Have a great day, Sue.

It was nice to find a new post, Sue, although I have been remiss in commenting on every fellow blogger's post. Glad to read that you are feeling a little better, but sorry to read about your friend and hope she will be as well. As for inconsiderate people and their pets, they are all around.
