I know I am always harping on our backyard work.
It is truly a never ending job...but I do love the backyard and the view.
We had put some weed killer on our lawn. They were getting out of hand.
All it did was make the crazy weeds taller and stronger.
Dave got out our electric lawn mower and went to town.
What a job... I follow and keep the cord out of his way. (That's one way to get our steps in,, LOL)
The lawn is 8500 sq. feet... lots of steps..
We mowed a little and sat a little. It took us a long time but it did get finished.
Dave took this shot from his chair at the end of the lawn. He is convinced that someone keeps coming in and making the yard bigger every time we go out there..HaHa...
Our daughter in law sent us this photo in response to our moaning and groaning about our yard.
And so another week begins. Thankfully the temps are going to be cooler for the next few days. "Cooler" as in 88F-90F...

That is a really big yard! Ours is not that big and it's really hard for Bob to do and I'm not sure that I could do it I might if I have to. The thing is everything has become a big deal. Vacuuming the floors dusting laundry all the things that you have to do over and over and over I can do them but it gets harder and harder. Thanks for the prayers for Madeline
You two are doing well as a yardwork team! Phil's back has gotten so bad that we now have to hire someone to mow. A real shame, as he has always loved mowing.
That's a huge yard! And requires so much work!!

Now that we no longer have lawn and yard work, I can honestly say they not missed especially when the temps are high. You do have a large yard and the best thing about mowing is when it's done...until the next time.
It looks very pretty, but I'm sure it won't be very long before you have to do it all over again.
