FINAL DECISION ON MY BLACK & WHITE FLOWER CHALLENGE

I ended up changing my mind on my submission for the flower challenge.

It really was hard to choose.  I had 18 pretty good ones in that file.

I really liked the visual contrast of this tulip.

The sun went directly onto the tulips pistil  and became the focal point.

Sun and shadows brought out the curves and sheen of the petals.

Everyone seemed to like it and I was happy with the result.

Make sure you enlarge this one to see the detail.

This was a fun and satisfying challenge for me.

Your beautiful photography is a lasting legacy to your family. What a lovely black and white.
The other night we watched an old black and white movie. It was a refreshing change.
