A LOVELY MOM'S DAY

Even though we were missing part of our family, we had a wonderful Mother's Day.

Oregon family were doing their own thing, our Granddaughter Lauren was with her in-laws and son Steve was on a mission trip in Costa Rica doing photography.

Still, we had absolutely the best food, great conversation and just generally relaxing.

That's what family get togethers are about anyway.

Billy is our Master Chef !

He loves cooking and especially beef presentations.
Amanda was fixing a yummy artichoke dip with sourdough rounds.

Billy also fixed chicken skewers just like the beef ones but they were under the broiler so I didn't take a picture.

Of course we had to have some tasty desserts too.

How does one pose for pictures after such a tummy stuffing meal?

The temps were in the high 80's with a few gusty winds along the way.
All in all, it was a grand day.
