Life is so interesting...
Just when we think things are seemingly going our way...
A roadblock appears.
After coming out of Walmart we saw this sight.. our rear tire was completely flat.
All we could do was groan and say...we don't have the money for new tires.
AAA came and changed our tire to the "donut" and then we went to the bank.
We had planned on depositing $200.00 for property taxes coming up.
Then it was off to America's Tires.
I guess you know where this is going.
The cost of the 2 new tires was $200.00
Thanking the Lord we had that money ready in the bank.
Of course we still need that money to be replenished but we had what was needed.
There is a further footnote to this story but I will save it for another post.

Goodness
You two have had more than your share of auto expenses. And tires I know are NOT cheap.
But, then on 2nd thought, two tires is less costly than the price of cars!!!
When I was in college I worked two jobs. I did not note on my tax forms that my second job was a second job. One month I happened to work a lot of overtime. I ended up with $400 in savings! Soon it was tax time. Imagine my surprise when my second job's taxes taken out was not enough and I owed for the first time ever. Guess how much? $400.
Wow.
Don't you worry. God provides.
I am so sorry. I do understand where you are in life. I do understand God giving you 'just enough'. Hope the property tax comes through. It will.
Oh my. I can imagine your heart sinking when you saw that tire.
With a house and a car, it sometimes seems like any time we get a bit of money, it needs to be spent on repairs.
Not only has the weather been flooding...so has your problems. Thanking God you had the $200, but praying he will supply that and lots more!! We do live day by day don't we! Sending love and prayers...wish we could send money!!
This is a very positive way to put it, very faithful. I wish you all the best! Regula
I've found when I need help the most, He never fails me...

perfect trade off, and I have had this happen many times, once we had a repair and it was 125.00. we paid it but left us in a hole. that very week a letter came from my dad in Savannah, the note said, i was sitting here watching TV and something said, Charles send Sandra a check for 126.00. Here it is, love you. we got an extra dollar. ha ha...
I'm so sorry that happened. Glad you had the money available to use. It's always something, right? I often wonder why they call these the Golden Years!!
You have a great attitude to life. Glad you could fix the situation. Love the quote too.
God always has a plan! Can't wait to find out where he has your property tax $$$!
Drat, a flat tire is never expected, but thankfully you were able to have it replaced. The property taxes will have to wait a bit longer as transport is important too.
I am glad you were able to have it replaced. The tax money will come....things have a way of working out. Praying for you!
I am glad you had the money for the tires, and hope your funds have built back up till you can pay your property taxes..
Well darn - ..that's how i'm feeling lately about everything, lol. I saw where you talked about rain in the last post...hope it isn't one of those flooding types of downpours.
