DON'T BE LAZY

This is the mantra from my son Steve, "Don't Be Lazy"...

Get your Paperwork, your Will and Trusts up to date.

Don't be like this old shoe that's been forgotten and buried deep in your closet or safe.

We realized that some of our  Trust information was not up to date.

Life had some changes since we had done our will and trust in 1999!

It's one of those things that just went out of our minds after completion.

Dave and I are so thankful for our sons making time and having some serious family counsel time together.

We don't want our legacy to be one of probate and debt for our kids.

We are now in the process of updating some important things.

The peace of mind this has given us is so comforting.  Now our sons know exactly what's in our minds and what they will have to deal with in the future.

It's so much better to talk together when we are all healthy, our brains are working and not under the pressure and stress of our final days.

Our sons.. Mark and Steve...

Two of the very BEST !

They are terrific men, looking after their parents. That is most important. And your peace of mind.

This is so comforting to have this chore behind you, and yes, you have two wonderful sons! How we praise God for our families.
Don and I have never owned much of value, as the world sees value. Living in parsonages we never owned a home, we don't have a safe full of valuables. Most of our valuables are books and Bibles and comentaries, and devotional books! Perhaps if Don goes first, I could open up a book store...hahaha.
We do have our wishes down for our children, and we have talked a lot about that. Since Don and I both have decided on cremation, there is no need for plots and cemetaries. Don has always said he wanted his ashes scattered at Tahoe!! But us humans are subject to changing our minds so nothing is written on stone!!!
Your boys have given you and Dave a lovey extended family! Love You.

Thanks for the reminder! And I agree with everyone else that you have two very handsome sons and they do look a lot alike and also resemble your husband. I’m glad you got all of that taken care of and can get that off your mind and now I have to think about what I need to do
