FINALLY GETTING SOME THINGS DONE

I spent a bunch of time renewing my Drivers License on line.

Government gobbligook is never easy to plow through.๐Ÿ˜œ

I now have a temporary hunk of paper until I go into the DMV for a written test and photo "shoot"

I am lucky that my appointment is Nov. 2.

My face should be back to as normal as its going to get.  Forever grateful.

I'm so glad I don't have to have a picture of me in this condition.

Everyday its getting better and better...Gotta do something about my hair too.

I kind of look like a wild woman!!

Dave and I are also working on those pounds that have crept up on us.

We just enjoy the wrong things for our body types.

This wonderful man has been missing us at our favorite "Wednesdate" haunt.

His name is David and he owns a family business called "DONUTS AND CINNAMON".

He works with his Mom and Dad, Grandma and Auntie.

They are such beautiful people.  Isn't his smile wonderful?

Their donuts are the best I have ever had.

Fresh daily and we have gained a few pounds on their Apple Fritters...oh my..

Sometimes they are just warm from the oven.

They are making me drool just writing this.

Happy Thursday...

That is an earthy genuine personality running the store. What a great smile.

You are looking so much better! And I actually like your hair. It has that little bit of a mussy look that is so popular. Now I want a donut!

The colours are fading nicely, Sue. A donut every now and then would be ok, surely!

You are looking better - I hope you feel better. I don't care for apple fritters, but I love donuts.

Hello from a first time blog visitor who stopped in from Michelle’s blog, It’s a Small Town Life. That sure was a nasty tumble you took and after seeing this recent pic, I read your previous posts as well. Glad the healing continues, even though you have been quite a colorful human palette. Congrats on the license renewal as well. Weight gain is always an ongoing battle with us as well and apple fritters are a favorite treat, so glad we do not leave nearby that bakery๐Ÿ˜‹.

I am always looking for new blog friends, so invite you to visit our blog as well and I will be reading more of your previous posts. FYI my blog alias is Beatrice, actual name is Dorothy. Like yourself, I enjoy taking photos and including them in posts about our road trips. My husband and I currently live in NH and our home state is NJ.

Well I am glad I don't live in California if that means you have to take a written test. We don't ever have to do that after we take the first one and I hope they don't start it. I agree with Jenny you do look so so very much better and by the time you go get your picture made it should be back to normal. I have never had a decent driver's license picture which must mean something haha

The donut shop sounds great. Yes, your face is looking so much better. It is easy to eat the wrong things. I need to do that with my drivers license and passport. It is never fun!

Also, you mentioned in your comment that we might have meet many years ago we both were on ABC Wednesday, but I was never there, so we did not meet before, but glad to have now.
