BYE BYE DEAD TREES AND HELLO PRUNED FRUIT TREES

Yesterday we were gifted by a friend to have our  fruit trees cut and pruned.

Eleazar also cut down 2 of our redwood trees that were sick and becoming dangerous.

He said he would use the redwood trees as his personal firewood...

WIN....WIN... for us.

And NO...Dave was no where near any saws, ladders or falling trees.

Here are several of the trees I took with my camera from a distance.  My camera has a lousy zoom.

The fruit trees got a hair cut and if you enlarge this one you can barely see Eleazar climbing around the redwood tree, prepping it to come down.

Oops, actually this is Eleazar trimming our plum tree.

That's the redwood tree in the middle just this side of the neighbor's house.

See that big ugly tree that's being overtaken by a parasite vine?  That was going to come down.

The spindly tall one to the right of it was going bye bye too.

If I can figure out how to transfer the photos from my phone to Picasa,

You will see the finished product.

If not this is al you will get for the time being.

😁

How wonderful! That would have cost a fortune. I am glad you were both careful. One of Phil's best friends was recently killed by a falling tree that a company was cutting down.

Those kind of friends are diamonds.

so happy you have the friend to help and the trees are down and gone and no one was harmed in the felling of trees. its scary no matter who is doing the tree cutting. I fretted over the 5 guys that we paid to take ours down.
