A DAY WITH A DEPUTY

This Saturday was a really good day.

Dave and I had a chance to go to an annual event.

It was cancelled last year because of Covid .

We love supporting our Law Enforcement and First Responders.

This year we went as attendees...not working a food booth as we have in past years.

It was so nice to talk to all the Officers.

A few photos from a few years ago and 2 from today.

Enjoy what's left of your weekend.

Nice pictures. My favorite is the bottom one with the deputy on the horse. Love the detail of the horse's face.
The second photo from the top (man and dog) looks a little scary, but I guess he's well padded for the demo, so no chance of actually getting bitten by the dog.

This event is really cool, and I love the old fashioned fire engine. We have one of these each year, it is called the Annual Night Out. There are pets there for adoption as well.

Looks like it was a nice event. We must support our officers and fireman.

Wonderful! So glad you were able to attend this year. Covid has put a damper on much of life. Thank you for linking up and have a great week ahead.

Our law enforcement officers need all the support they can get.

you and Dave are sure community oriented. I think that's great. I was always so busy with the kids and grandkids that i really or rarely got involved in anything. Now though I'm just glad to be alone and the only Beings i really help are the wildlife looking for food, lol. and my family of course. I liked your photos.

Sue, I so enjoyed your post although I am late seeing it. We have been overwhelmed with regular doc appointments, grands and prep for a 5-week trip out west including youngest son's wedding in Jackson Hole WY. But we are on our way now and I'm about to call it a day and climb into bed--literally. Why to hotels and motels make their beds so high and their toilets so low!! Glad you and Dave were able to enjoy the special event as guests. keeping care of health issues includes budgeting your day's energy output.
Praying for y'all!
