I was out in our backyard yesterday.
There was a huge grasshopper on the wall.
The thing measured about 3 inches.
We don't usually have these critters this big.
It was so nice of him to pause and pose for me before leaving his post.
I guess Summer is definitely on its way.
He was way up on the wall so I didn't get the greatest photo of him.
There was sort of a red stripe down his back.
I sure hope he isn't going to eat all of our plants.

He looks like the Darth Vader of Grasshoppers!
OHHH! that is one big boy. I am not sure i would have the courage to get a picture. Grasshoppers are one of my biggest phobias.
