A SUNDAY FULL OF WONDERFUL HAPPENINGS

Yesterday was Mother's Day.

Even though we celebrated at home , it was truly wonderful.

Son Steve, Sigrid and granddaughter Amanda came over after church and we "potlucked"

dinner.  It was so yummy.

It was also a belated birthday celebration for my Daughter in Love...

But the most exciting thing was the celebration of Amanda's Engagement to Billy.

Their's is a long distance romance but when things are real and blessed by God

it all works out.

We are thrilled.  Wedding is a ways off at this time but..

it will all work out.

We also got a wonderful phone call from other son Mark and family.

Absolutely a win-win day!!

Aren't they cute?

Such young love...

How about this Rock that Billy designed and the thought on the box?

I love that he is such a romantic.

Dear Friend, I have spent a good part of my Monday going through your older posts to find what has been going on with Dave. I have been close to tears--because of the life-changing seriousness of the injury, the physical and emotional pain you both are experiencing, your courage, the determination to trust God, and your persistence in finding things to be thankful for during this time. I am continuing to pray for you both.

Wow, they ARE a cute couple, and she is beautiful! This would be a ring like no other, just for HER.

That is a stunning ring and I love the Box almost as much as the ring. It's a great photo of them and I'm so glad that everybody got to get together for Mother's Day
