Here are just a few more Christmas memory photos of years gone by.
I'm feeling a lot of nostalgia today.
I really love the lights on the outside of our home and the Christmas tree peeking through the window.
I know I have shown these before.
These are handmade pinecone trees my Mother in Law made at least 57 years ago.
She was so crafty and collected all kinds of seed pods and decorated her trees with them.
I cherish these and they must be out every year.
Dave and I got this nativity set the first year we were married.
It must be out every year too.
It's the Reason for the Season.

Ohhhhh, I adore that nativity!! Very much. (And love the cone trees plus the tree lights in the window)
Loved your pictures. Don's mother, Frankie was a very "crafty" woman and made all kinds of Christmas decorations. Most of them I passed on to our kids, as we have such a small unit. I love your elegant Navtivty. Very special to have it as long as you have. I have several Nativity Scenes, but this year, just wanted to keep it simple with Mary, Joseph and the Baby Jesus...a couple of sheep.
These pinecone trees are amazing!! She was very talented.
Lovely pictures. Thanks for sharing them,
Those pine cones trees are incredible! Such a treasure!
I love each and every one!
that is one huge pinecone.. we only have small ones here.. your nativity is perfect and lovely.. as a child the only decorations seen from the outside was the big tree in the window. that makes your home pefect for me
Lovely to have those special Christmas memories. Love the pine cones!
I am not putting a Christmas tree up this year. I will be by myself so it's hardly worth hauling it up from the basement, decorating it, and them having to put it away again.
I love that you decorate with meaningful items. I do the same and it makes the season even more special.
I enjoy the photos of Christmas past. I have a few lined up in my photo file to post from the past also. if I ever get it done.
