MONDAY MEMORIES - CHRISTMAS PAST

I'm calling this post MONDAY MEMORIES.

The year is 2005

Christmas at my son's home.

Family and the Scandinavian Traditions.

Santa always came and had a small gift for each of the kids

and

those adults who were like "kids" also.

So much fun, laughter and memories being made.

Oh my, these kids are all grown up now.

We sure missed having this get together this year..

So sad,

Darn COVID 19...

I know...this covid...it's been nearly a year since we've had family visit.

Enjoyed your trip down memory lane! I have a g-son who will be 24 already. And I was talking to my nephew on the phone & shock of all shocks...HIS son will be 40 next week!!

And THAT is what Christmas is all about...

It seems that this year we have to rely on past memories to make up for what we can't safely do now.

Precious Photo, and such beautiful memories. I hope next year will be different and back to Normal

I like seeing this - there is such a commonality around people where we all seem to enjoy so much of the same traditions ... When I see others' photos of Christmas gatherings it always feels like i'm looking at mine.
