DAY # 27 MY 30 DAYS OF THANKSGIVING

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and found much to be thankful for.

I sure did.

It was all about family and delicious food.

We were able to have our dinner with our younger son and family

Via ZOOM.

That was really fun and the best way to be together when we couldn't.

I'm thankful that our older son and his wife were in our home,

along with our friends that are like family to us.

Our family via ZOOM

Missing our daughter in law since she is taking the photo.

She said, you can see my plate so you know I am there.

It was a good day which ended with a small problem.

The garbage disposal died and sprung a leak.

Water dampened stuff and so now Thanks to our son Steve

We will get a new one put in as soon as it comes.

Stuff gets old like us and we now have another project for our agenda.

Despite the difficulties...

I am still Thankful.

Of COURSE it would break on Thanksgiving, during a four day holiday! It is kind of a tradition with us that we will get sick or something major will break either on a weekend or holiday. This is a great family picture!!

Now that's the way to really still have Thanksgiving Dinner together ever from a distance.

Seeing one another via zoom is the best at this point and time. It is safer and we all need to consider that we want our loved ones to be here again next year.

what a wonderful idea and a lovely way to share dinner with long distance family. I love it. like they are there with you and you with them... oh no on the TG disaster. we once had our sink plug up during a Christmas party and had to wait until the next day to find a plumber.

Looks like you had a jolly thanksgiving with family, some at a distance and some a lot nearer! Looks like I will be having a Zoom christmas.... oh well, it's happening for everyone isn't it.
I had to smile about the garbage thingy.... if anything is going to go wrong, it will always be on a holiday weekend. Fingers crossed that nothing else will bite the dust.
