Technically these aren't great photos but that doesn't make the Pears
any less delicious.
After not getting any pears last year, we are celebrating our "Bounty".
Last night we had the first taste of juicy and sweet...
The 2 peaches were hanging way over the fence from our neighbor's tree..
Yumm...so wonderful.
There is nothing like fruit or veggies that are home grown.
There is no taste like it !!!

now i am wanting my mothers peach preserves and pear preserves. we had friends who had a lot of pear trees and we could pick as many as we wanted. it was my job to peel and pare and i hated it, but love the preserves. she also cooked them with cinnamon and sugar like apples. yum.

Nothing like fresh juicy fruit. I bought two peaches that actually tasted good. Not like the fruit yard, but good.
I've been telling Sergio that we need a fruit tree. Last time I wanted sweet cherries, but peaches and pears sound yummy too. I miss "my" apple orchards...
