FLASHBACK FRIDAY

I know I have posted this photos before

But, I have a lot on my mind today and don't feel too creative.

These 3 photos are from my Hubby's and my church trip to Henche , Haiti.

The year was 2006.

It was quite an experience and we met many lovely people.

I'm so glad I don't have to go down to the river to wash my clothes.

I don't think my neck could handle this way of doing laundry.

Mama has her hands full....

We are really spoiled, I think.

Thanks for looking.

Hello,

We are spoiled. I am sure they are hard working people taking care of their families the best that they can. Take care, enjoy your day! Wishing you a happy weekend!

What an experience to be in Haiti - Ienjoyed these photos and always find that my small complaints mean nothing when compared to how other countries live.

We are spoiled, and these pictures show just how much.

Wow...this post was a culture shock PLUS educational. Yes, we Americans are extremely spoiled (and whine too easily when "hardships" arise). Thanks for this humbling post.

What an experience! You have had so many and I would dearly love to sit and hear you tell all about them!
We watched the first part of the movie The Good Lie with Reese Witherspoon at the ranch and are looking forward to finishing it when we get back down there. We only see and read about the things that you have actually been there and experienced!
Thank you for these photos and the reminder that life is so hard for so many. And yet they still find joy. A lesson to all of us....

You've been and seen so many wonderful things. What a storehouse of memories. I love when you share them. I think I have a headache watching those women with the baskets on their heads. They must have very strong neck muscles.
